My best and proudest work to date. This is my take on Chiikawa as a spineless children's book. My Biggest issue was the task of creating all assets by scratch on Adobe Illustrator.
I just rolled up my sleeves and got it done.
Regarding this particular project. I was involved in every aspect of illustrator design. The barcode and book Pricing was provided by my professor at the time.
Process Work.
These three versions were the beginning of this project. I decided to go with the third option, given how it's simple, but detailed and seemingly quite appealing.
At the time, I wasn't used to making everything; it was a great experience as a creative and as a designer.
I just put my foot down and got to work. I added many more details and altered the design of the back to be more suitable for a book.
